So for everyone that doesn't know, this fall will see the resurrection of the original Halo that changed console gaming ten years ago. On November 15th, 2011 purists of the Halo franchise will be able to relive the experience that helped define a generation of gamers. Halo Anniversary, is just that, a retelling of the game that started it all. This time around though the game has been modified to better the experience all the more. Visually the game is going through enough plastic surgery to rival any current Xbox 360 console title and the score/voice acting are being fully upgraded as well. Motion comic cut scenes are being added to the terminals. Yes terminals, which are being added as well to flesh out more of the original story. Multiplayer is also seeing some friendly tweaks. Since the multiplayer will be running on the Halo Reach engine, don't be caught off guard when you get assassinated on Blood Gulch because you where to busy wondering why a guy just flew by you in a jet pack. If your going into a nerdrage right now because this isn't your Halo relax, you can toggle between the old and busted or new hotness at any point in the game, whenever you want.

Now about those pre-order bonuses I was talking about earlier. According to Halo Waypoint, anybody who pre-orders the title will finally be able to customize his or her Xbox Live avatar as the one and only Master Chief. On top of that, players will be granted the Grunt Funeral skull. Apparently when activated, this skull makes every grunt jet pack explode the way a plasma grenade does when they get shot. You can imagine what kind of chaos fun this can create.

Oh, one last thing, this title is going to debut this fall at $39.99. Yes, you heard right, a new Halo game for under sixty bucks. Personally, I'm not the biggest Halo fan but even I have to admit that all across the board this is a pretty sweet deal. I'd be totally lying if I said I wasn't going to pick this game up. Check out the video below and see if you can make it through the whole thing without smiling...I dare you.
